Ambre Italia

“.. thanks to the completeness of the solutions of Arti Informatiche, we can work with a single provider in IT, with considerable benefits in terms of natively integrated solutions and costs..." The CEO of Ambre Italia

With nearly half a century of experience in watchmaking and a portfolio of prestigious brands, AMBRE ITALIA, guided by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lucio Fedele, has managed to join high image products with a "customer oriented" trade policy.

A winning strategy that has enabled the Italian subsidiary of the group to develop a turnover of 30 mil Euros only in recent years of activity.

It works in the Italian territory with an established network of 34 agents and over 1500 skilled jewelries.

THE NEEDS

  • An integrated information system, from administration to the treasury, from business to management control, logistics, and supply.
  • Monitor the sales network through a centralized CRM
  • Structure and automate the orders purchase by the network of agents
  • Manage the planning of external stocks logistics with movements in real time
  • Schedule shipments according to the material in stock
  • Monitor the Company's performance with an integrated Business Intelligence tool
  • Manage the liquidity of the commissions on the basis of custom logic

THE SOLUTION

With Datagram Informatica, Certified Partner of Arti Informatiche, has been implemented Ideale2005, an integrated information system for the management of all business functions. The system was equipped with a CRM environment for the management of about 40 agents on the territory that can automatically enter their orders to the system, checking availability of items in real time and monitoring their progress. For Ambre a commercial and logistical department is fundamental in order to handle every order with professionalism, precision and punctuality. Thanks to the collaboration between Ambre and Arti Informatiche, it has been possible to build a project bringing in a contemporary range of technologies:

  • Ideale2005, an evolved ERP for business management in the areas of Administration, Treasury, Management Control, Purchasing, Sales and Logistics.
  • The inclusion of a virtualized environment has enabled to provide a single system for different locations across the country.
  • The introduction of a CRM environment for monitoring and managing the sales activities.
  • The introduction of Ideale Web Access for automated management of external logistics Ambre has made use of for several years.
  • The implementation of Business Intelligence to give the Management the necessary information on the progress of the company in a timely manner.

THE BENEFITS

  • INTEGRATED SYSTEM: The use of multiple technologies sharing the same database has allowed the company to concentrate its investments on the added value of the products, rather than hazardous, heavy and unproductive data replication activities.
  • REAL TIME MANAGEMENT: A CRM natively integrated ERP environment eliminates the replication of information and allows for its real time distribution. Agents can now check items availability, automatically load the orders, check the customers account position.
  • EXTERNAL LOGISTICS: for several years Ambre made use of external logistics providers, but managing the information to and from an external warehouse was very expensive and time-consuming. With IdealeWebAccess using Web 2.0 technology, a communication standard is defined between the Ideale2005 automated information system and the one by the logistics supplier in terms of efficiency, thanks to the real time availability, and money.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Thanks to the synergy among Ideale2005, CRM and IdealeWebAccess, Ambre has recovered in terms of efficiency and more accurate and timely service to its customers.
