How to improve control of production of foreign plants through an integrated management system such as Ideale.

General Beton Romania srl, Tonon Group company, is engaged in the extraction and processing of stone for concrete production. Founded in 1998, it has 6 factories in Romania and 200 employees overall. 100% owned by General Beton Triveneta spa, is controlled by it as for the administration, finance, technical and information technology.

THE NEEDS

Centralize in a single database the production information from six plants in Romania
Check regularly and in real time (in both Romania's administrative offices), the data from production sites. This is to facilitate timely access to data by parent company General Beton Triveneta

THE SOLUTION

General Beton Triveneta, assisted and supported by Art Info (Romanian subsidiary of Arti Informatiche), has implemented in Romania the management system Ideale 2005, with multilingual interface, which can be easily accessed on the web via secure authentication.

The new system is able to support the management of active and passive cycle with a custom module, and incorporate a standard module for the management of the accounting in compliance with local taxation.

The production sites were connected to the management system installed on servers located at the Art Info Data Center, with the advantage of using protection and data back-up systems there included. To do this, a Virtual Area Network (VAN) was created, which supports Romanian ADSL, but it remains isolated from the Internet, ensuring maximum confidentiality of information transmitted.
Ideale 2005 now allows General Beton to know the sales volume in real time: orders are associated with the delivery note, with the signature of acceptance of goods by the customer.
The system, incorporating the active cycle data with information on stocks of raw materials at each facility, allows the company to

- Monitor the progress of their own consumption

- Improve stock management, optimizing the planning of the reorganization of the material.

The module for managing Ideale 2005 accounting allows the Romanian administrative headquarters to minimize the time needed to compile administrative budgets.
