Supervisor

Supervises data, informs, notifies and provides solutions according to the circumstances.

Supervisor, as complementary part of the BPM (Business Process Management) technologies, allows the companies to automate a wide range of activities, especially the repetitive and often redundant ones, including them among the procedures needed to react to abnormal events or circumstances that, if not managed in time, can determine critical situations.

With Supervisor it is possible to quickly and easily build a set of algorithms that interact with database and end user, while making the information system more pro-active in relation to the workflow activities.

The scheduling of application processes is an interesting feature applied in all areas of management software;  stock control, reorder point or minimum stock, production efficiency of a department as well as the control of the discrepancy between accounting and financial balance.

The way in which the application can be programmed to carry out the tasks necessary for the monitoring is basically divided into three main methods:

  • "On demand": on the basis of an action desired by the operator who wants to manually request the execution of a specific task;
  • "Scheduled" at predefined time intervals;
  • "Trigger" in the presence of data input by the operator.

In several installations, Supervisor has proved to be a real source efficiency, able to rationalize, activate and inform about the management process in place of the operator.
