What's new in Ideale2010

Ideale2010 is the new edition of the ERP project called Ideale.  In version 8.0, Arti Informatiche has synthesized the know-how gained in over 15 years of activity with the SMEs.

INTERNAZIONALISATION as an expression of experience

The first challenge that Arti Informatiche wants to take with this new edition of the product is to respond seriously and effectively to companies that find themselves facing complex and difficult strategies to expand at a national and international level.

The increasingly flexible technology platform on which the management software is based now allows to configure management scenarios that were until recently exclusive of large and heavy systems, particularly complex and expensive for the sake of the project.

Approaching markets and organizations that come out of traditional boundaries to get to remotely control the organization, even in difficult areas, is one of the main "commitments" that Italian companies should make.

Ideale2010 wants to be our solution to meet these demands, more and more sophisticated and complex to implement.  Today different language interfaces are available to the operator.

UNIFIED COMPUTING as an expression of technology

The concept of a unified system is the basis of the efficiency of corporate information system.  The availability of a wide panorama of vertical solutions, as well as a full-bodied set of departmental solutions, allows a Unified approach to information.

Not only because of the presence of a single reference database with which all departmental applications operate, but also thanks to a shared "Business Logic" the entire "portfolio" of applications of arti informatiche represents for the company a real reference management platform.

Simple and integrated reusability as an expression of efficiency

The basis of the logic of efficiency within an organization is to be able to reuse (or recycle) all the possible information that can be delivered either from the outside towards inside or from the various business areas.  We distinguish simple reusability from the integrated.

The first step is then the simple reusability. The simple reusability is detected in a simple process of interpretation and decomposition of the data, typically coming from outside the organization towards inside, such as the supply chain. Ideale2010 through a native integration of the "Biz-Link" application, can always highlight the source of information and functional workflow. This way, the recovery of the efficiency is given in terms of time and errors reduction, due to lack of re-keying of the information, as well as to the speed of acquisition of the same.

The integrated reusability, on the other hand, is based on the assumption of interacting with external applications automatically. Then make algorithms, not only information, available to other procedures, represents the highest level of efficiency.

Ideale2010, through the integration of the Fluentis 1.0 library, and through native support of the SOAP (Simple Object Application Protocol) technologies, is able to interact with other remote systems, accepting input parameters and providing data dynamically, in accordance with the specific requirements.

This allows the development of very powerful services, typically "customer or supplier oriented", in "real time", able to interact with systems in fully automatic and continuous mode.  There are already some libraries of functional interchange with the international ERPs of wider distribution (SAP, IBM, Microsoft).

USER INTERFACE as an expression of ease of use

Ideale2010 no longer has only one interface, but a set of multiple interfaces simultaneously possible based on the circumstances.  It is, in fact the circumstance of the needs that puts the operator in the position to recall the use of the application; in fact it may be possible to use normal procedures from a Windows Forms client, a Web page through a browser, a mobile application, or an e-commerce site.  Behind all this there is always Ideale, with all the algorithms available.

The WindowsForm interface has been adapted to the new Microsoft guidelines for  Windows 7 certification, through the implementation of the Office2010-style "Ribbon Bar".

INFRASTRUCTURE, as an expression of power

The infrastructure of Ideale2010 is characterized by the use of Visual Studio2010 as a development tool and MS-SQL Server2008 as a reference DBMS.  With a set of more than 2300 tables and over 25000 fields of the database, Ideale2010 is half-way between the ERPs of international reputation and low-end business applications. The application layer is developed at several levels of interaction; the creation of more complex procedures is carried out in C++ in order to ensure an environment of efficiency and performance algorithms, while the levels of customization can be reached through the application of Idele2010 Application Modeler.

By integrating Ideale2010 Application Modeler it is possible to change the management workflow in order to adapt procedures and interfaces to the various needs of customization.  The reporting is entrusted both to Crystal report and reporting Services.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT as an expression of service quality

In addition to popular supporting tools such as the help desk and the management of exceptions with automatic routing towards Arti Informatiche systems, Ideale2010 introduced a new tool to record operational sequences, in order to accelerate the identification of any abnormal situations or those activities where the operator is in difficulty.

The rapid creation of a request to intervene with attached streaming of the context of the problem, enables the group support to identify the operator's needs faster, and then give a proper and quick response.
