The "Warehouse" module can manage multiple physical and/or logistic stocks at the same time, by monitoring the existing, not available, committed, ordered  quantities, as well as all understock, overstock, and unsold items.

This module constitutes the fundamental cornerstone of selling and purchasing cycles.  It has many functions: items register, which can be managed with different alternative units of measurement, batches, serial numbers, stock management, reorder points and safety stocks management through an appropriate analysis procedure.  Within item register you can define costs, technical data regarding weights and measures, data related to the supply of stocks and to the production of every item; the articles coding relies on a "category code" and on a registration number represented by a numeric or alphanumeric combination.

It also manages the packaging; you can define the packaging for each item, which is particularly useful for the creation of picking lists and for logistic and distribution aspects.

It also allows the use of bar codes, as well as cost management and maintenance, even in an integrated way with the production, through appropriate procedures for automatic alignment or recalculation.

The stock movements are fully integrated with purchasing, sales and production areas; you can access the existing records, modify them and insert new transactions, possibly with counterparts, in order to make adjustments, production movements and movements between warehouses.

The stocks can be managed with details on the location, in order to always have the precise location of an article; the locations can be previously defined, based on item code, type of movement, weight and size; you can also give priority to the location and in some cases even block it.

Strengths:

  • managing countless stock varieties (size, color, size, etc.);
  • management of warehouse through templates allowing the classification of each type of movement according to a customized plan for each company; you can also define a criterion of costs renovation for each template;
  • management of the printout of all the items that have not been moved after a certain date; these items constitute a cost in stock;
  • inventory and warehouse journal print;
  • value assignment to the warehouse according to LIFO, FIFO, weighted average cost and standard cost criteria.
