The technique used is typical of an SOA application whereby the application makes a connection to the database of the "State Less" type. 

There is the possibility to configure the handheld terminal in "Connected" and "Disconnected" mode. It is, in fact, the scenario and the environmental situation of the company which determine the most appropriate configuration of the tool.

For companies in which all the information is generated within the physical structure,  a "Connected" approach is preferable The connected approach is identified by a dependency of the device on the central server; in this sense, all the generated information or requests are always handled in "real time" on the centralized database.

On the other hand, for companies distributed in the territory, and then not operating on a fixed and stable location, but often variable, is essential to create a "disconnected" solution, making the device that hosts IdealeMobile autonomous, which can then be connected to the corporate system in different ways, GSM or GPRS.

The mixed solution, both Connected and Disconnected, is instead applicable to companies with more complex and articulate needs and identifies an effective means of information detection, both local and remote.
